Dioctyl terephthalate (DOTP)

Dioctyl terephthalate (DOTP) is an excellent main plasticizer for polyvinyl chloride (PVC) plastics. Compared with the commonly used diisooctyl phthalate (DOP), it has the advantages of heat resistance, cold resistance, volatile resistance, extraction resistance, softness and electrical insulation properties, and shows excellent durability, soap resistance and low softness and softness in the product. Because of its low volatility, the use of DOTP can fully meet the requirements of wire and cable temperature rating, and can be widely used in 70    °  C cable material (IEC standard of the International Electrotechnical Commission) and other PVC soft products. In addition to a large number of cable materials, PVC plasticizers, DOTP can also be used in the production of artificial leather film. In addition, with excellent compatibility, it can also be used as a plasticizer for acrylonitrile derivatives, polyvinyl butyraldehyde, nitrile rubber, cellulose nitrate, etc. It can also be used as a plasticizer for synthetic rubber, coating additives, precision instrument lubricants, lubricant additives, and as a softener for paper.
