Trichloroethylene
Trichloroethylene is mainly used as a dry cleaning agent for metal degreasing and wool and fabrics, and is used for dry cleaning. In addition, it is also a solvent for resin, asphalt, coal tar, cellulose acetate, nitrocellulose, rubber and coatings. It has been used as an anesthetic in medicine and as a raw material for synthesizing monochloroacetic acid in pesticides. Trichloroethylene is the first organic solvent.
Introduction
Trichloroethylene is an organic compound with the chemical formula C2HCl3. It is a colorless transparent liquid formed by the substitution of three hydrogen atoms in ethylene molecules by chlorine. It is insoluble in water, soluble in ethanol and ether, and can be mixed with most organic solvents.
