Tetrachloroethylene
1, tetrachloroethylen e is widely used, mainly used as metal degreasing solvent, also used as an insect repellent. Tetrachloroethylen e can be used as fat extraction agent, fire extinguishing agent and smoke screen agent, and can also be used in the synthesis of trichloroethylen e and fluorinated organic compounds.
2, widely used as natural and synthetic fiber dry cleaning agent. It is also used as degreasing detergent for metals and general solvent and intermediate for organic synthesis.
3, used as a standard material for chromatographic analysis.
4, for adhesive repellent, fat extraction agent, also used in organic synthesis.
Introduction
Perchloroethylene, is a chemical compound formed when all hydrogen atoms in ethylene are replaced by chlorine in terms of molecular structure. It has an ether-like smell. Non-combustible. It is insoluble in sugar, glycerin and protein, slightly soluble in water (0.015 at 25ºC), and can be miscible with ethanol, chloroform, benzene and chlorine organic solvents. It doesn't hydrolyze.
